President: Catriona Cook (she/her)
Hi! I’m Catriona, and I’m so excited to be your President this year. My main role is to oversee everything within the club, help all of our amazing teachers and committee members, and most importantly, to make sure everyone has the best Dance Club experience possible!
Vice President: Sylvia Ruckledge (she/her)
Hiya, I’m Sylvia and I’m going to be your Vice President for this next year! I will be organising lots of workshops, finding sponsorship and in charge of all things kit and merch, whilst supporting everyone with whatever they may need. I am super excited to shake up the kit this year and see Dance Club grow even more! Let’s have the best year!

Leah Bebb (she/her)
Heya! I’m Leah, and I’m so excited to be your secretary for my final year at Newcastle! My job includes a lot of work behind the scenes mainly liaising with this sports center to book the studios. But don’t worry you will be hearing from me every week through the weekly email! I cannot wait to meet all the new members that will join our club!

Treasurer:
Jess Gorski (she/her)
Hey everyone! I’m Jess and I’m so excited to be your treasurer for this year! I’ll be responsible for managing all things finance for the club, from membership costs to ticket prices for events throughout the year. My goal is to make dance club as affordable as possible for everyone to be apart of. I can’t wait for another amazing year of NUDC!!
Charity & Welfare Officer: Ava Daft (she/her)
Hiya! I’m Ava and I am your charity and welfare officer at NUDC this year! My role at dance club will be planning all of our charity events for our chosen charity. I’m especially excited for the iconic Newcastle Come Dancing! I will also be holding regular welfare drop-ins and be a friendly face for anyone who wants a chat or needs some support! I can’t wait to meet all of our new dancers and raise lots of money for charity!!
Social Secretary: Lucas Torrison (he/him)
As Social Secretary, alongside Emily, our job is to bring the dance family together even more through weekly socials, events & activities. We’ll take on an active role of engaging you guys and making sure everyone is having an unreal time, especially on a Wednesday! I cannot wait to meet a whole new array of freshers and make their first year as special as mine was!
Social Secretary: Emily Fraser (she/her)
Heyy, I’m Emily and I cannot wait to be one of your social secs this year! Alongside Lucas, my job is to make sure the social side of dance is just as amazing as the dancing itself. We’ll plan your Wednesday nights, balls, sober socials, plus getting you all the best deals across town. So get your costume box ready, we’ve got some exciting Wednesday plans coming your way!

External Competition Coordinator: Lily S

Heyy, I’m Lily!! I’m so so excited to be your External Competition Coordinator this year! Ill be organising all the competitions that we will be travelling to this year, I’m already counting down the days to comp snz! I can’t wait to have the most amazing competition season with the most talented club ever <3
Internal Competition Coordinator: Emily Jones (she/her)
Heyy! I’m Emily and I am so excited to be your Internal Competition Coordinator this year! My job is to organise Newcastle University Dance Competition 2027, which is my absolute favourite day of the year! I cannot wait to be dancing with you all on the dancefloor, on the coaches and on the WonderBar tables afterwards! I’m so excited to share the dance love with as many of you as possible!
Show Coordinator: Bryher Alcock (she/her)
As Show Coordinator, I’m responsible for planning our annual NUDC show, including everything from liaising with Northern Stage, designing t-shirts, managing schedules and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. This year our theme is Icons! We’re thinking everyone famous that we’re completely obsessed with, all brought to life through dance. The best part is showcasing every members talent and bringing the whole club together (there’s a lot of us!) I can’t wait to see you all at Northern Stage!
Media Officer: Hannah Gibson (she/her)
Hi everyone! I’m Hannah and I’m super excited to be your 26/27 media officer! My role involves everything you see on social media from the Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website etc.. so I’m sure you’ll all get used to seeing me around! I can’t wait to boogie around the toon with you all for another year & see some new faces in September!
