The Show
Arguably the highlight of the dance year!
Dance Club puts on an annual end-of-year show, which every member of the club can get involved in! Each class gets the chance to demonstrate all they’ve learnt over the year, and the competition teams perform routines they’ve been competing with throughout competition season.
Every dancer has the opportunity to perform in as many styles as they want, and it’s the perfect chance to showcase all your hard work to family and friends! Show weekend is one to look forward to, and is super fun to get involved in.
Keen to choreograph and perform with your friends, or go solo? You can audition for the show’s wildcard section for a chance to show off your own individual style on stage!
Our show in 2022-23 was called ‘Shut Up and Dance!” and in 2021-22 was called ‘Blame it on the Boogie!’. We have recordings of the all the numbers rehearsals and dress run up on our YouTube channel, ncldanceclub.
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our teachers and committee for organising the show, and a congratulations to all our dancers who performed brilliantly both on the day in the show and throughout the year.
