Competitions

At the beginning of each year, you can audition to be on competition teams of each style and ability. On these teams, you will get the opportunity to perform against other universities through several inter-university competitions throughout the year all over the UK!

Competitions are a chance to represent the university and really feel part of a team; they give you a great sense of achievement, are an excellent way to make friends and are so much fun! To be part of the competition team, you must be dedicated and hard-working but anyone who has been part of a team will tell you it’s so worth it.

We offer competition teams in levels intermediate and advanced in styles of ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary. Additionally, we have one competition team for styles lyrical, street and commercial!

Keen to choreograph and perform with your friends, or go solo? You can audition for the small wildcard category for a chance to compete with your own individual style.
