About Us
The Newcastle University Dance Club is run for students, by students. We welcome dancers of all abilities and styles, with classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Street, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Technique (to improve week-on-week with a different style each time).
We participate in competitions all across the UK, create an annual dance show, have weekly themed socials and frequent charity & welfare events!

Charity
Katie Alice & Jack - Winners of Newcastle Come Dancing 2025.
We support a wide range of charities through exciting fundraising events, pub quizzes, and socials. The charity that we were supporting in 2024/25 is Newcastle Carers.
In 2024/25 we raised a grand total of £4183 through activities such as: pub quizzes, a sunrise sea dip, and our annual Newcastle Come Dancing charity event for Newcastle Carers - an independent charity supporting adults, children and young people who care for someone living in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
